AH!!, fashion is in the air. Among the Big Four, it started in New York; traveled across the pond to London, and now moves over to continental Europe where Milan gets its turns, then Paris from 26 Feb.-6 March with Moon Young Hee first out of the gate..
Milan Fashion Week (lesser known as Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana) commences today and wraps on 26 Feb. Paola Frani starts the runway show portion (9:30 a.m. Milan time; 3:30 a.m. New York time; all subsequent times are Milan time).
On the presentation side, Brunello Cucinelli and Ballantyne (9 a.m.) are up first. Also on the runway are two Gucci shows (2 p.m. and 3 p.m., respectively) and Alberta Ferretti (5 p.m.) Watch the video above to see a preview of what will be shown on the AF runway. The truncated collection was presented last month in Florence at the request of the mayor of that fair city. Others who participated in what was a group show were Ermanno Scervino and Ermenegildo Zegna.
