ISN'T it wonderful that the biggest swimwear shows in the world happen during the summer? At least summertime in much of the world.

The Big 4 fall-winter and spring-summer shows always happen out of season. It's February, the teeth are chattering and one is watching flimsy frocks saunter and sashay down the runway. In September, it's still hot. The last thing a body wants is a double-faced wool parka.

But come July when it's hot! hot!! hot!!, the scene in Miami is sweltering outside. And inside, too, where the swimwear that can adorn bodies starting in about six months is making its sultry debut on runways at the Raleigh Hotel and a few other South Beach venues.

Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim wrapped on Monday. As one can imagine, lots of eye candy. Enjoy some designs from the five days of parties, presentations and shows.
