Day 5

TRAVEL. It was a theme explored by several designers showing on day 5 of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week.

Carlos Miele contracted jungle fever, while Donna Karan New York yearned for the bright lights and big city. Presumably, the march toward the 21st century continues at Marc Jacobs as the designer arrives in the 1960s for factory work after time traveling circa 1690 in February.(See video above).

Mothers are always on the go, whether it’s to Disneyland, soccer practice, ballet practice or the supermarket and can look good en route.. They had their chance to show what they got in looks from Fall 2012 (in stores now) at “Strut: The Fashionable Mom Show.”
